I would like to petition Blizzard for something

I really have no idea how one would even begin to request that their realm be changed to a New Player status. Years ago it would have been sounding the death knell for your realm. The dreaded New Player status. The point where the population dropped beyond Low. Where the internal system would steer people to you. Where the offer would be made for free transfers off of Over crowded High Pop realms to yours.

But I am not asking to just bolster numbers. Yes once again we are back to being considered Low Pop. The connection between US Borean Tundra and Shadowsong briefly raised us to medium, but we have slid back. Who knows next month we may just be designated New anyway. But I am asking for a reason.

In 2009 the Borean Tundra server was opened. A brand new realm. And a good portion of those that chose it were new players. Now, the majority of those that stayed have 7+ years of Warcraft under their belts. But many of us still recall what it was like. Starting a new game where a good portion had played for years. And we would like to help.

In June, the Warcraft movie will release and potentially 10’s of thousands of people may pick up the game for their first time. And we would like to be there. To be part of a rebirth of the game. To answer questions, to try to help. And to make that initial experience to the game something magical, as it once was for us.

So I’m asking for some help. How does one petition Blizzard to change a realm status to New Player. How can we let them know, we want to help. We want to be a part of the experience new players have.
